Job Description:
The successful applicant will be expected to:
  • ensure that the British Council Bangladesh's IT hardware, software, networks and systems are developed and managed in a professional manner.
  • technical support to IT users on standard software and hardware.
  • contract and procure as per business needs and rolling plan, and asset management, ensure risk management and enable authorised software usage.
  • keeping records of Servers, workstations, printers/scanners, computer names, staff accounts and locations.
Educational Qualification:
graduate with relevant technical certification - e.g. MCSE Certification, ITIL V3 Foundation, PMP or working towards it.

Job Requirement:
And will have the following skills and experience:
  • excellent user support and technical support skills.
  • at least 3 years IT experience on server administration, networking and providing technical and business application support.
  • ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
  • very good understanding of IT procurement and tendering process.
Other Benefits:
  • Monthly salary of Tk 41,525.00 (consolidated)
  • Transport allowance of Tk 4,100.00 per month plus other benefits according to the organisation’s policy

  • The incumbant, on the whole, will supervise the office of the Registrar as per Private University Act 2010 and Statutes/rules of the University, manage records related to admission tests, registrations, examinations, grade, class schedule and other related matters and correspond & maintain liaison with and submit information and periodic reports to the Ministry of Education & University Grants Commission.
